General information

The study aptitude test is a subject-specific test which checks the aptitude for the bachelor's program in psychology and is used as an additional criterion besides the grade of the university entrance qualification (usually the Abitur grade) for the selection of applicants in the so-called "quota of the selection procedure of the university".

Participation is voluntary and can have a rank-improving effect, i.e. increase your chances of being admitted to the monobachelor's program "Psychology" at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in the named quota.
The test is offered and conducted under the responsibility of an external service provider (ZwpD, TransMIT Center for Scientific Psychological Services (DGPs) of the TransMIT Gesellschaft für Technologietransfer mbH) in licensing by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie e.V. (DGPs). The possibility to participate in the test is bound to several prerequisites. First of all, you have to register in due time that you want to take part in the test. You can find out more here.

The legal basis for the eligibility of the test result is the subject-specific admission rules for the Bachelor's program in Psychology 2.1.1.43. (20232).

The actual application procedure at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is expected to start on 01.06.2023. In the course of the application you will then be asked to state your test result.
