Education
Carsten C. Schermuly studied psychology (major), history, political
science and law in Mainz and Berlin (Humboldt University).

Research interests
His research is focused on communication processes. Together with Prof. Scholl he has developed the Discussion Coding System (DCS). He is also interested in the exploration of quality criteria for assessment center and the empowerment construct (Spreitzer, 1995). His dissertation is supported by the German National Academic Foundation.
