Empirical studies on questions of development over the lifespan
in different functional and life domains: Well-being, cognitive performance, social integration, control beliefs, ...

 

We welcome students who have a strong interest in working on developmental psychology issues, whether through cross-sectional or longitudinal studies or through projects that shed light on everyday life. If you are interested, please contact one of the chair representatives. The specific topic will then be determined together.

  • How social contact contributes to affective well-being across adulthood
  • The role of social contact in shaping life satisfaction following divorce and spousal bereavement
  • Life satisfaction and perceived changes in life during transition into widowhood: Do perceived control beliefs play a role?

 

Urmimala Ghose will be able to supervise bachelor theses from 04/2023 to 09/2023.
